Stephen Mulhearn and his organisation Giant Steps offer team building events and workshops that deliver amazing, sustainable results within a dynamic environment of transformation.

Stephen Mulhearn

Stephen Mulhearn has devoted a large part of his life in pursuit of knowledge and pathways which expand and empower human potential. This journey has led him to bridge cutting-edge psychological techniques with powerful ancient teachings utilised by indigenous tribes.

Stephen has been Initiated and granted permission to pass on these teachings by Native Elders of both South and North America. He has personally been mentored by SUNDOOR’s Peggy Dylan in the field of human potential over the last eight years. These diverse resources weave together to offer a truly unique seminar experience.

Stephen’s expertise and desire for empowering groups has been called upon by the Co-Operative Society, the Royal Sun Alliance, the Learning Game, SODOPS, the Natural Heritage Society, and a full spectrum of organisations that demand results from their trainings. Stephen was also hired as the Shamanic/Firewalking consultant on David McKenzie’s movie The Last Great Wilderness, and provided the Firewalk in the film itself.

Giant Steps

Giant Steps for a decade has organised and facilitated corporate workshops in the UK and overseas. Stephen regularly organises personal growth expeditions to diverse cultures such as Peru. As the main trainer for Giant Steps, Stephen has a passion for providing experiences that have a long-term positive effect on all involved. Giant Steps provides corporate trainings tailored to the needs of each company and organisation, ranging from two hour dynamic presentations, to intensive packages of five days’ duration.

His organisation Giant Steps is also responsible for bringing a collective of some of the world’s best trainers to the UK.

Lendrick Lodge

In addition to his team-building work, Stephen and his wife Victoria manage the direction of Lendrick Lodge in the Scottish Trossachs, a residential centre for self-development and retreat. Lendrick Lodge has been supporting both the growth and empowerment of people from across the planet for over seventeen years. Lendrick Lodge is often chosen by corporations as the location to host their private seminars.

"Honesty is paramount to my work. Through sharing my own path of discovery – which includes a near-death experience as a result of not following my destiny - I believe that groups and individuals are inspired to awaken their true destiny, encouraging them to tap into their unlimited potential that gives them the fire to ignite their dreams."

"Just a wee note to say a sincere thank you for the fantastic experience at Lendrick Lodge. The drumming, the visualisations and the journeying were great. The firewalk itself, an incredible experience, the feeling of being encouraged and supported by ‘our tribe’ was the icing on the cake.

Please pass my thanks to Stephen. I enjoyed and appreciated his style of communicating and teaching. He takes a risk with every new group he encounters and put his heart and soul into that journey to encourage people to be all they can be at that moment in time."

"Just wanted you to know that last Friday was the most magical day of my life and I’ll never forget it.

It all felt surreal, I felt as if I was in another world. When you touched me with the eagle feather something happened, I felt warm all over and something evaporated from my body.

Every time I close my eyes all I can see is all of us under the trees in the dark walking across a glowing fire and looks of exhilaration and disbelief on our faces.

I feels like a dream but I know it wasn’t. The person who walked across the fire has changed somehow, if I get a chance to repeat this adventure, I will.

Thank you for an amazing time."

"I set out to Lendrick lodge with a group of colleagues, in anticipation of what the day might hold, focusing particularly on the fire walking experience which lay ahead. At worst, I would inherit a few blisters on my feet and at best I would feel satisfied that I rose to the challenge of walking across hot coals.

I managed to escape the blisters and to my surprise was able to do the firewalk without any fear. At the end of the day we were invited to a final workshop which allowed us to reflect on the day as well as other aspects of our daily life. The fire walk was just a part of the experience.

It was a day where everyone worked in harmony, supporting each other throughout their experiences or challenges.

The whole day was very enjoyable, and I wished I could have boxed up the wonderful feeling I had at the end of the day to take home."

"I was delighted to take part in a group activity and not be sidelined for being pregnant !! The activity was an excellent team building exercise as everyone involved supported everyone else yet had their own time to express goals and aspirations.

The sense of achievement was excellent after completing something initially well outside our comfort zone.

The surrounding scenery was beautiful and added to the atmosphere of the place.

All staff and volunteers were friendly and welcoming."

"A completely different experience. I didn’t really know what to expect but was completely open to the events of the day.

It was excellent to spend a day with the rest of the team and share in everyone else’s experiences, and supporting each other through the arrow breaking and the fire walking. Stephen was amazing and the success of the day has much to do with his unique teaching, guidance and support."

"I went in search of a new experience via fire walking and left reconnected to the essence of my being/soul."
